Comprising 5 comfortable ensuite rooms, our accommodation at the lodge consists of rooms of varying sizes, offering a fuss-free stay for all financial means. Our smallest budget rooms cater to those who want a short break, requiring nothing more than a bed and ensuite facilities. Our largest letting room accommodates a family of four. All guests can make use of our cosy residents’ lounge and residents’ kitchen area, where breakfast items are available. As well as the lodge, we have one separate self-contained unit beside the property and on the level.
All rooms offer ensuite facilities and are decorated to a high standard. Accommodation at the lodge is situated upstairs and accessed via an outside stair. Unfortunately, none of the lodge rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Guests in the lodge have access to a residents lounge with flat screen television and fire. There is also access to a small kitchen area with a toaster, small convection oven and microwave. Whilst a full-cooked breakfast is not included in the room rate, we offer a complimentary self–serve breakfast for guests should they wish.
We have one self-contained unit on the property that offers the following:
- A kitchen/living area with a separate dining bench and a fully functioning kitchen
- A spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room and toilet
- Separate WC
- Sofa beds
- Wood stove and wall-mounted flat-screen television
- Patio doors lead onto a private terrace with garden furniture
Whilst the lodge is predominantly pet friendly, not all rooms are suitable for pets. Please check to make sure the room you reserve is pet friendly. Pets are welcome for a small surcharge (£5 per dog per night).

The Stag Room
Budget small double £60Our smallest room (75ft2) with a small window overlooking an internal courtyard, the Stag room is furnished to meet the needs of most, with an ensuite toilet and shower room, a flat screen tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy full access to the comfortable & spacious residents lounge and kitchen area. The room is best suited for short stays and is unsuitable for pets.
The Coo Room
Budget standard double £65Decorated to a high standard with a highland cow theme throughout. The Coo Room, is situated at the back of the building with a small window overlooking a covered courtyard. Although small (78ft 2) it offers everything you require for a comfortable night stay. It has a spacious ensuite toilet and shower room, a flat screen tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy full access to the comfortable & spacious residents lounge and kitchen area. The room is best suited for short stays and is unsuitable for pets.
Glen Esk
Classic Double £80Situated at the front of the building with an original hayloft style window and offering a view into the lodge garden, Glen Esk enjoys comfortable accommodation at an affordable price. The room accommodates a sofa and integrated wardrobe, flat screen tv and a small ensuite toilet and shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room but guests can also enjoy full access to the comfortable & spacious residents lounge and kitchen area. This room is suitable for one small dog
Glen Clova
Superior Double/Twin £85Situated at the front of the building Glen Clova is a spacious room offering either twin beds or a super king size bed for sleeping. It enjoys 2 original hayloft style windows offering views into the lodge garden. The room accommodates a sofa and stand alone storage facilities, flat screen tv and an ensuite toilet and shower room. An electric kettle and coffee-making machine are available in the room however guests can also enjoy full access to the comfortable & spacious residents lounge and kitchen area. This room is suitable for one small / medium sized dog.
Glen Prosen
Family Room from £95 (depending on occupancy)Glen Prosen is our largest room offering sleeping accommodation for 4 guests in 2 queen beds. The room enjoys 3 windows with the largest offering glimpses of the loch. The room accommodates stand alone storage facilities, dressing table ,flat screen tv and an ensuite toilet and shower room. An electric kettle and coffee making machine are available in the room but guests may also choose to enjoy full access to the comfortable & spacious residents lounge and kitchen area. This room can accommodate up to 2 medium sized dogs.
Granny’s Cottage
£140/nightA new addition to Lodge at Lochside’s accommodation portfolio, Granny’s cottage is a self contained 1 bedroomed cottage within the property grounds. All on ground level it offers all the comforts of home for travellers searching for that extra space, comfort and privacy, including its own parking place.
The cottage comprises of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area accessed by an internal porch. It also has its own private terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or late night glass of wine. There is a fully functioning kitchen with dishwasher and oven and hob and also a microwave. Two sofas sit side by side of a wood stove and original art works hang on the walls as well as a smart television. There is a separate WC which also accommodates a washing machine and tumble dryer. A generous double bedroom with an ensuite toilet and shower room completes the accommodation.
Although priced for individual nights if booked for longer stays the prices is adjusted accordingly.
This property is also dog friendly and can accommodate up to 2 medium sized dogs.
